If you are shopping for a 2026 Ram 1500 at Sidney CDJR, you’ll notice the lineup looks a little different this year. Ram has not only updated the engines; they have reshuffled the trims to offer more luxury and more off-road capability than ever before.
Gone is the TRX (for now), but in its place comes the agile RHO. And sitting at the very top of the food chain is the all-new Tungsten, a truck designed to compete with high-end luxury SUVs.
Here is your guide to the 2026 Ram 1500 trim levels.
The Engine Menu
Before picking a trim, you need to know what powers them. The Hemi is out, replaced by the Hurricane family.
6L Pentastar V6: Standard on Tradesman and Big Horn. Reliable, efficient, and mild-hybrid assisted.
0L Hurricane I6 (Standard Output): Delivers 420 hp and 469 lb-ft. Standard on Laramie and Rebel.
0L Hurricane I6 (High Output): Delivers 540 hp and 521 lb-ft. Standard on Limited, Longhorn, Tungsten, and RHO.
Trim Level Hierarchy
The Workhorses: Tradesman & Big Horn
Tradesman
Big Horn
Don’t let the “work truck” label fool you. It now comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen (upgradeable to 12-inch) and LED headlamps. It’s built for the job site but comfortable enough for the commute.
The volume seller in Sidney. It adds chrome bumpers, cloth bench seating with a center console, and access to the “Night Edition” black-out packages.
The Core: Laramie & Rebel
Laramie
Rebel
The entry point for true luxury. You get leather heated/ventilated seats, the standard Hurricane engine (420 hp), and the available 14.5-inch touchscreen.
The off-road warrior. Features a 1-inch factory lift, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Bilstein® shocks, and a locking rear differential. For 2026, the Rebel gets a bolder grille and updated graphics.
The Luxury Class: Limited Longhorn & Limited
Limited Longhorn
Limited
Western-themed luxury with open-pore wood accents, filigree leather stitching, and a unique warm interior palette.
The previous top dog. Standard air suspension, premium leather bucket seats, and power running boards.
The New Kings: RHO & Tungsten
For 2026, Ram introduced two specialized trims that push the boundaries of what a truck can be.
RHO
Tungsten
Think of this as the “TRX Light.” It features the 540-hp High-Output Hurricane engine.
Performance: 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds.
Suspension: Bilstein® Black Hawk® e2 adaptive shocks (similar to TRX) designed for high-speed desert running.
Exterior: Widebody fenders, hood scoop, and 35-inch tires.
Why Buy It: You want a desert runner that fits in a standard garage and gets better MPG than the old supercharged V8.
The new pinnacle of truck luxury.
Audio: Features the class-exclusive Klipsch® Reference Premiere Audio System with 23 speakers and a 12-inch subwoofer.
Seating: 24-way power front seats with heat, ventilation, and massage.
Tech: Standard 14.5-inch center screen + 10.25-inch passenger screen.
Why Buy It: You want a vehicle that rivals a Range Rover in comfort but can still tow your boat.
